1. About us and these terms
This website and our services are provided by Double K Venture Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 202601048291 (LLP0039281-LGN)), trading as The Double K ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or engaging us, you ("you", "the client") agree to these terms. A written quotation, proposal or contract signed or accepted by both parties ("Agreement") forms part of these terms; if they conflict, the Agreement prevails.

2. Website use
The content on this website is for general information and is not professional advice. Prices shown are "from" prices for a defined scope; the price payable is the one in your written quotation. You must not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or copy our content or designs without permission.
3. Services and quotations
Scope, deliverables, timelines and fees are set out in a written quotation or proposal. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately. Timelines (including our "14 days" website offer) start once we have received the content, logo, access and approvals we need from you.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and exclude applicable taxes, including Sales and Service Tax (SST) where applicable, and third-party costs such as domains, hosting, premium plugins and themes, payment gateway fees, platform subscriptions and advertising spend, which are billed at cost or paid by you directly to the provider. Project fees are billed in milestones (for example deposit, design approval and launch); monthly services are billed in advance. Invoices are payable by the due date stated on the invoice. We may pause work or suspend services while any invoice is overdue.
5. Client responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate content, approvals, feedback and access in good time, and you confirm that you have the right to use all text, images, logos and other materials you give us. Delays on your side may extend timelines and may affect fees.
6. Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, code libraries, templates and methods, and grant you a licence to use them as part of the deliverables. Third-party materials (fonts, stock images, plugins, themes) remain subject to their own licences. We may showcase non-confidential work in our portfolio unless you tell us in writing not to.
7. Revisions
Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds, as stated in your quotation. Additional revisions or scope changes may be quoted separately. Post-launch "tweaks" cover small content or layout changes within 30 days of launch and do not include new pages or features.
8. Domains, hosting and accounts
You own your domain, content and advertising accounts. Where we register or manage them on your behalf, we will transfer full access to you on request once all fees are paid. Hosting and care plans are subject to the provider's terms and fair-use limits.
9. Results
We work diligently to improve your online performance, but we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads or sales, as these depend on factors outside our control, including search engines, advertising platforms, competitors and market conditions. Platform rules and algorithms may change.
10. Confidentiality and personal data
Each party will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the Agreement. We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and the PDPA. If you give us your customers' personal data, you confirm you have the right to do so and have obtained any required consents.
11. Cancellation and termination
Either party may end monthly services with 30 days' written notice. Either party may end an Agreement immediately in writing if the other commits a material breach that is not fixed within 14 days of notice. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started, and work completed up to termination remains payable.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the fees you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages of third-party platforms, natural disasters, government action or internet failures.
14. General
These terms and the Agreement are the entire agreement between us on their subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you engage us applies to that engagement.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
