How The Double K collects, uses and protects your personal data under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Who we are
This website is operated by Double K Venture Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 202601048291 (LLP0039281-LGN)), trading as The Double K ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data user under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (as amended) ("PDPA") for the personal data described below.

2. Personal data we collect
- Details you give us: name, phone / WhatsApp number, email address, business name, industry, website or social page, budget range and any message you write, when you use our forms, WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and campaign source (UTM parameters, Google Click ID, Facebook Click ID), collected through cookies and analytics tools.
- Business records: quotations, contracts, invoices and correspondence if you become a client.
Providing the required fields on our forms (marked *) is voluntary, but without them we cannot respond to your enquiry.
3. Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare audits, quotations and proposals.
- To deliver, manage and invoice our services, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.
- To understand how our website is used and to measure and improve our marketing.
- To send you news, tips or offers, only if you have agreed. You can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- service providers who process data for us, such as web hosting, email, CRM, messaging (WhatsApp / Meta), form-handling and analytics providers (for example Google and Meta);
- professional advisers (accountants, auditors, lawyers) and payment providers;
- government or regulatory authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers outside Malaysia
Some providers we use (such as Google, Meta and cloud hosting services) store or process data outside Malaysia, including in Singapore, the United States and Europe. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies, such as Google Analytics and advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads), to understand site usage and measure campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work, though some features may be limited.
7. Retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you unless you become a client. Client, contract and accounting records are kept for at least seven (7) years as required by Malaysian tax and company law. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
8. Security and data breaches
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). If a data breach is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and affected individuals as required by law.
9. Your rights
You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, limit how we use it, or withdraw your consent (including to marketing messages) at any time. Email hello@doublek.asia with your request; we aim to respond within 21 days. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some services.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Links to other websites
Our site links to third-party sites (for example WhatsApp and Google Maps). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
